Are you passionate about great food? Do you see yourself fostering well-being at a pioneering tech company that aims to transform the future of global health? Nightingale Health is looking for an enthusiastic Chef to join our team in Helsinki. As our in-house Chef, you’ll lead our newly established Nightingale café, which aims to tickle the taste buds of employees and visitors.
As Nightingale’s Chef, you’ll be a part of our HEART team - creating an inspiring workplace that helps everyone do their best and keeping our flock feeling good. You will take care of our in-house café and its kitchen, ideating and preparing daily lunch and snacks for our team of diverse talent (including software developers, scientists, designers and sales professionals). We’ll also count on you to take care of catering for our visitors and special events. You’ll work in close co-operation with our Experience manager to continually improve our employee and visitor experience.
We’re looking for a person with a passion for food and cooking, as well as an entrepreneurial spirit. You’re a creative person with high motivation - a doer with a curiosity to learn new things. You most likely already have a restaurant cooking degree and proven work experience. You should have a good knowledge of food quality and food handling, along with an understanding of the relevant regulation. We also value enthusiasm about seasonal ingredients and a knowledge of different dietary requirements. Excellent communication in English and organisational skills are considered a plus. Unexpected complimentary skills are also highly welcome!
This full-time position is based in Helsinki and is available immediately.
Nightingale Health is one Finland’s fastest growing biotech companies with over 70 team members and customers in 20 countries. We develop pioneering solutions that focus on active prevention of chronic diseases, such as cardiovascular diseases and diabetes. With our blood testing technology, we reveal unique molecular insights that are invisible using standard technologies. This broader visibility allows us to predict the future risk of a person developing a chronic disease. Knowing the risk means having the ability to make a positive impact on health. We believe that rather than solely treatment, health should be about keeping people healthy. We’re also a bunch of lovable, welcoming people with a sense of humour and an ambitious attitude.
If you’re interested in joining our flock, please fill your information and attach your CV and cover letter.
Inquiries about the position can be sent to Nightingale’s Head of HEART Heta Forsström, firstname.lastname@example.org
