Are you passionate about leveraging graphics design to help solve the world’s biggest health challenge? Does your heart sing when you can impact people’s health by visualising complex data into a rich and understandable format? Can you concept and create outstanding visual identities to drive new services and design practices across an organisation? Do you strive for excellence and do not settle for less? Nightingale Health is looking for an experienced Graphic Designer who wants to challenge themselves and take our business to the next level with great design.
As a graphic designer at Nightingale, you’ll elevate and evolve our brand across multiple platforms and services by developing new visual ways of delivering our messages to target audiences. You will develop visual identities for our new, global services and produce engaging, pixel perfect visual designs. You’ll also collaborate with designers across the organisation to raise the quality bar and continuously improve our design processes, principles, and tooling. You will take part in creating design systems that are simple to understand, help us to move faster as we scale, and make the collaboration between teams easier.
You care about business needs, implications, and the possibilities of your work. You don't get stuck on pretty visuals and can balance between craft, deadline and the business value. You have fluency in the tools necessary to create exceptional visual material but you're excited to fill your toolbox with new stuff when it means better results. You already have considerable work experience (+5 yrs) and a portfolio demonstrating your finest achievements, most likely backed by studies in graphics design or visual communication related fields. Experience in UI/UX and understanding front-end development is considered a plus.
The position is a full-time field position based in Helsinki and available immediately.
Nightingale Health is one Finland’s fastest growing biotech companies with over 80 team members and customers in 20 countries. We develop pioneering solutions that focus on active prevention of chronic diseases such as cardiovascular diseases and diabetes. We reveal unique molecular insights that are invisible using standard technologies. The broader visibility allows us to predict the future risk of a person developing a chronic disease. Knowing the risk means having the ability to make a positive impact on health. We believe that rather than solely treatment, health should be about keeping people healthy. We’re also a bunch of lovable, welcoming people with a sense of humor and an ambitious attitude.
Send your CV, portfolio and cover letter and let’s talk some more! The position will be filled as soon as the right person is found.
