Hi, we are Nightingale Health, a health technology company on a mission to solve the global chronic disease crisis using data, science, and technology. We are currently looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team in Helsinki.

In this role, you will help us develop, test, and deploy our software products. These include our commercial products, web-based laboratory management system, and software and tools used by our data analysis team. You’ll be part of an agile development team and work in a business that combines health and science with cutting-edge lab technology with the latest software. Here is what you will do:

  • Automate our build, test, and deployment practices by developing continuous integration and deployment pipelines for our products.
  • Develop and maintain our cloud-based hosting environments to make sure our services keep running smoothly 24/7.
  • Take part in making important technology decisions and improving our ways of working.
  • Get a chance to dive deeper into biotech and the fast-growing health industry.

Technologies you will be working with:

Terraform, Ansible, AWS, Nutanix, Kubernetes, Docker, Apache Kafka, MongoDB, React, React Native, Node.js, Electron, TypeScript, TestCafe.

You will be a perfect fit if you:

  • Are a hands-on person with DevOps experience in CI/CD systems and cloud environments.
  • Have a pragmatic and proactive attitude and are all about helping the team to effortlessly host, build, test and deploy their software.
  • Are an eager learner who wants to pick up new things to become an even better software professional.
  • Thrive as part of a diverse team working towards a common goal.

We also value if you have:

  • Strong experience in building and maintaining continuous integration, test automation, and delivery systems.
  • Experience in cloud service infra management, especially with AWS.
  • Knowledge and willingness to keep up-to-date with the newest DevOps toolchains.
  • Worked with service environment monitoring tools.
  • Experience in AWS, Nutanix, Kubernetes, Docker, Apache Kafka, and/or MongoDB. This will be a big plus.
