Mini review: Metabolomics - Novel Discoveries in Diabetes Research

It's now well established that branched chained amino acids and aromatic acids are associated with risk of type 2 diabetes risk but we do not yet know which intervention strategies are effective at reducing their impact on type 2 diabetes risk. There is scope to make numerous novel contributions to the field by using metabolomics to help answer open questions.
