Full Stack Developer (My Nightingale)

Hello, we’re Nightingale, a health technology company on a mission to solve the global chronic disease crisis using data, science and technology. We are growing rapidly––expanding both our business and teams––and are currently looking for a Full Stack Developer to join our team in Helsinki.

In this role, you’ll help us develop our newly launched consumer blood-testing product, My Nightingale, a pioneering service in preventive health that has the potential to change the health of billions of people globally. This product is in fact our first step towards our bigger mission of abolishing chronic diseases by making data-based preventive health tools available for everyone.

 

As a full-stack developer at Nightingale, you’ll:

  • Be part of our agile software development team and get to work with all aspects of the My Nightingale service. Your exact responsibilities can be tailored based on your previous experience and interests.
  • Work on an innovative consumer health product that helps people to take control of their wellbeing and future health.
  • Help us develop our new Mobile app (developed on react native), our product website (includes the purchase funnel and appointment booking system) and the backend (handling user-management, APIs and database).
  • Take part in making important technology decisions and improving our ways of working.
  • Help us innovate new products and services based on our technology. 
  • Get an opportunity to dive deeper into biotech in a fast-growing health industry.

Technologies you'll work with:

React, Node.js, React Native, PostgreSQL, GraphQL, Hasura, TypeScript, AWS, Docker

You’ll be a perfect fit if you:

  • Have at least a couple of years of hands-on full-stack and/or mobile development experience.
  • Are all about producing good, testable and high-performant code.
  • Have a pragmatic and proactive attitude.
  • Are eager to learn new things and always strive to become an even better software professional.
  • Thrive in a diverse environment where teams work towards a common goal.
     

We also value if you:

  • Have experience with any of the following: React, Node.js, React Native, PostgreSQL, GraphQL, TypeScript
  • Are familiar with npm, Git, Docker, AWS
  • Can implement CI systems and automated testing.
