Medical Doctor in Product Development

Hi, we are Nightingale, a health technology company on a mission to solve the global chronic disease crisis using data, science and technology. We just launched an advanced blood-testing service for consumers––a pioneering product in preventive health––and are looking for a medical doctor who’s enthusiastic about using technology to make preventive health easier for everyone.

You’ll be part of our product development team in Helsinki and take the lead on how we communicate health results to our customers. In your everyday, you’ll collaborate with designers, copywriters and data scientists to make complex biological subjects and latest medical research findings understandable.

You will be a key contributor to build product solutions that help everyone understand how their lifestyle affects their health. With your work, you’ll be helping Nightingale to deliver technology that has the potential to change the lives of billions by abolishing chronic diseases.


As a medical doctor at Nightingale, you will:

  • Contribute to My Nightingale’s product development with your medical expertise.
  • Take a lead on how we communicate health data to our customers.
  • Collaborate with designers, copywriters and data scientists to make complex health-related issues understandable and actionable for My Nightingale customers.
  • Work with the latest medical research findings that connect the effects of lifestyle to long-term health.
  • Create and curate actionable advice for My Nightingale customers.
  • Perform statistical analysis on large data sets as part of the scientific work related to product development.
  • Inform and educate My Nightingale’s customers about their results.


You’ll be a perfect fit if you: 

  • Strongly believe in the opportunity that modern technology provides to support people in living healthier lives.
  • Can work in a fast-paced, hands-on and adaptive environment.
  • Are a strong team player with the ability to communicate clearly in a cross-functional team.
  • Are a problem-solver and can crystallise and present research findings to the team.
  • Have at least 2 years of practical clinical working experience and a deep interest in how lifestyle impacts an individuals’ health.  
  • Have an eye for details as you’ll be proofreading written material to ensure medical accuracy and its consistency towards clearly defined product goals.
  • Have excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Finnish. Any other language is a plus.
  • Have experience in writing related to healthcare, life sciences or wellness-related topics for a mass audience. It’ll be a plus.
