Serum Conjugated Linoleic Acid and Risk of Incident Heart Failure in Older Men: The British Regional Heart Study
Wannamethee et al. Journal of the American Heart Association. 2018;7(1):e006653
In this study, researchers investigated the evidence that conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) may have cardiovascular health benefits.
Researchers prospectively examined the association between serum CLA and incident coronary heart disease and heart failure (HF) in 3806 older men. Results found that high CLA% is associated with lower risk of incident HF.
