Nightingale has been selected as the Best Health Tech Startup at the annual Nordic Startup Awards. At an awards gala held in Copenhagen, Nightingale triumphed over finalists from Denmark, Iceland, Norway and Sweden. As a regional winner, Nightingale will participate in the Global Startup Awards in Guangzhou, China, in December.

The Best Health Tech Startup Award was given to a startup that "has shown the greatest development over the last year based on growth, innovation, and impact with a product or service that uses technology to keep people healthier and/or improve the ability to diagnose and treat illness.”

The Nordic Startup Awards assessed startups from five Nordic countries across 16 different categories. The winners were determined by a combination of an international jury and 35,000 public votes. Before making it to the Nordic final, the competing companies had won their respective national finals earlier in September. Overall, the winners were chosen from more than 2,500 nominees.

Nightingale Health is a biotech company looking to solve the global burden of chronic disease. We believe that rather than solely treatment, health should be about keeping people healthy. We develop pioneering solutions that focus on active prevention of chronic diseases, such as cardiovascular diseases and diabetes. With our proprietary blood testing technology, we reveal unique molecular insights that are invisible using standard technologies. The broader visibility allows us to predict the future risk of a person developing a disease. Knowing the risk enables people to have the ability to make a positive impact on their health.
